We should probably give him a chance seeing as this is just his 6th test. I'm with you though tbh, it will be extremely difficult for someone of his pace (70-75mph) to be really successful in test match cricket.
If he keeps bowling like this he could be a success..

Syed Rasel to DPMD Jayawardene, no run, loud appeal for lbw is turned down, that pitched on middle stump and swung back into Jayawardene who was late on the flick and got hit on the pad as he was on the move, pretty close shout that, may have been a bit too high

or

Syed Rasel to Vandort, OUT, bowled him! Rasel pitches it on a good length outside the off stump, Vandort drives a little away from his body off the front foot leaving a gap between bat and pad, the ball cuts in through the bat-pad gap and grazes the top of the bail, it just about touched the bail but the impact was just enough to dislodge it

His accuracy is pretty good and he can get a reasonable amount of swing, Shadhadat is the better Test option IMO.

Just makes he laugh thinking of Shahadat's run up. It's absolutely enormous.
Yeah, it probably doesn't need to be that long but it helps him generate some good pace. He was getting over 140kph during the World Cup.

You don't get the new ball all day though.

Syed Rasel has the 2nd best strike rate of all Bangladesh bowlers with 5 wickets or more..

Rasel vs Nathan Bracken in Test Matches would be a good battle..

Madness that Haque wasn't picked really.
Well...yeah s'ppose. Rafique is rapidly declining as evident by the last few test matches and maybe it's time that Enamul Haque jnr took his place. I like the look of Mortaza, Shahadat, Rasel and Enamul Haque jnr as an attack tbh.

Haque should've played all three games, just play two spinners.
