Nothing AFAIK, but I'm in the same sort of boat as Liam and Sam (except I'm like 5 years younger than Sam )What are you doing on the 25th?

Good coz I'm notFormer tbh.
5 years younger than me? Man, I feel old..Nothing AFAIK, but I'm in the same sort of boat as Liam and Sam (except I'm like 5 years younger than Sam )
Age 19 I was living in a house with mates in Exeter, 300+ miles from home.I have been telling her that for years! For some reason she has always been severely overly protective of me. I was never allowed to play out with friends. If I ever go into town, I have to text her to let her know I'm there. Text her when I'm coming back. Gosh, I live a sad life
Hahaha I remember the first time I went out without my mom or any other member of my family.. It was my friends 16th birthday party.. Although I'd only just gone 16, I was still being served drinks, which all my friends thought was awesome. Anyway, I might have come home slightly ''happy'' I wasn't drunk just happy... My mom hit the roof! She told everyone in the family that I had come home completely wasted so then I was in **** from all angles.. I still hear about it now tbh.. Gonna have to make up some excuse about Monday lol..Age 19 I was living in a house with mates in Exeter, 300+ miles from home.
Parenting like this is why kids go off the rails when they leave home: because they're not allowed to discover their limits on their own, and then when the constriction of the net goes they just fall... witness idiot freshers dying from alcohol poisoning. Same applies to the litigation culture and health and safety rubbish.
Time to grasp the nettle if you don't want to still be under curfew aged 32 a la Seymour Skinner.
And Jamee - same applies for you as Liam: phone numbers are posted in thread, happy to talk anything over/meet at station etc.
Haha, hope no-one finds-out otherwise I'll be watching my back for the next 10 years based on what I've just read. Am starting to think twice about the whole thing now, TBH, don't want irate phonecalls or knocks at the door with how-dare-you-sneak-around-meeting-my-daughter-without-my-permission etc.Hahaha I remember the first time I went out without my mom or any other member of my family.. Your mum needs to let go. Seriously.
Think hell must have frozen over because I've just read a Pickup post (two in fact of more than a line's length) and agreed with every single bit.Age 19 I was living in a house with mates in Exeter, 300+ miles from home.

Well... just spoken to Liam's mum, TBH, didn't sound too keen on the idea even with my assurances that (as long as I was attending) I'd pick Liam up from the station. It's understandible enough, internet paedophiles are common things, though I'd not imagine too many hang-around forums such as this one, less still manage to have 5 or 6 intermingle into the system and pose as people who didn't know the first thing about each other before joining.
And SOMEONE tried ringing me today at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was not pleased, and as I say, even if I hadn't been at work, it's no use until Saturday as I don't know for certain whether I can come until tomorrow. But I can't often answer my phone at work.
Hahaha I have Richard running for his life and haven't even met him yet! If you don't want to I understand hun.Haha, hope no-one finds-out otherwise I'll be watching my back for the next 10 years based on what I've just read. If you're scared of irate phonecalls, you shouldn't have really posted your number on here.Haha, hope no-one finds-out otherwise I'll be watching my back for the next 10 years based on what I've just read. That's what I thought. Sam already has my number, though, and BTSOT her mum might get it off her by fair means or foul.If you're scared of irate phonecalls, you shouldn't have really posted your number on here.
I'm sure we can find a way to keep, shall we say, mum. (Deliberately terrible pun, yes - as everyone knows from CW experience, can expect nouwt else)Hahaha I have Richard running for his life and haven't even met him yet! If you don't want to I understand hun.
Sorry bout that Richard. Forgot to tell my mum that Saturday was the best day to ring you.And SOMEONE tried ringing me today at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just come back from watching the cricket and she say's she's fine with it now she knows what's going on.Will let Liam go into further details if he wishes.
All she wanted was to speak to the guy who was organsising the thing. My phone manner is evidently more convincing than I'd ever dreamed of.
