JBH001

International Regular
Kapil Dev has the slightly better economy rate, couple that with his much more destructive batting at #7 and I think he's the perfect candidate.
I agree with you Perm. Also I see little need to have Imran as the captain when Ponting will presumably take on that job, and do it well too.

Kapil Dev for me.

Imran is a far better skipper than Ponting, but I don't think captaincy should come into the equation too much.

I would have Carins over Razzaq any day of week. One is in and out of his national team, another an out and out match winner.

Xuhaib

International Coach
At one point Razzaq was a genuine match winner with the ball in ODI's but I dont think his batting was up to scratch at that point.

Raghav

International Vice-Captain
I could have voted had you put Cairns in the list...A true Allrounder when NZ team needed most...A player who single handedly won a maiden multi team title (ICC mini WC) for his country..

Quite dissapointed to see Razzaq TBH....Cairns should have got the place if Razzaq gets

Indeed. Cairns > Razzaq as an all-round package. Razzaq was once a pretty useful bowler, and has been for quite a while one hell of a hitter when he gets it right, better than just about anyone.

But IMO he's never really been even a ODI-class all-rounder, never mind multiple-XI material.

Yeah Razzaq had that golden patch for a season or two where he was bowling really well but Carins better them him hands down.
