Why do you need results for FC cricket to post sides for OD cricket? People were posting sides for Pre Season matches for both forms without needing the results of the other form. Mitchell just got the database last night so he has up to Friday (64 hours as usually) to post the results.

With injuries if you post a side with an injuried player they just get taken out of the first XI. For this round i'll check on Thursday to see if anyone has played an injuried player. Like in past season if a managers plays an injuried player, there will be two weeks added to his injury. Three weeks in a row of playing an injuried player they get a strike.

i wasnt saying you couldnt post a side with out results i was more getting to the fact that maybe managers didnt want to post there side without knowing who was injured as if q moore was only injured for 1 week then i play him he is then out for 2 that is all.......

Th injuries have already been done for Round One FC, they get done after 1st XI matches, not 2nd XI matches anyway.

Don't necessarily agree with that tbh. Given that you have to select your 2nd XI side before the injuries are run and managers could risk having a player further injured if they play. That situation happened to me with Powar. As long as players are allowed to continue to play for the match named before they were injured. Unless you want to start adding sub players (ala CW Dev league) that can replace any injuries. Which imo would be the better option, as it does add a little realism with players getting late injuries.

I think somewhere along the line people got confused. Power injury didn't get extended. The injury sim gets run on Mondays before the team sheet threads are put up. So that means that injuries will be out before 2nd XI results are posted from the week before. You only get penalites if you select players for the following week who are injuried. Also you don't select 2nd XI before the injuries are run.

I'm fairly confident the 2nd XI game was run after the injury was announced.

Yes and it will be like that for the rest of the season, like always. But the sides get posted before the injury sim. If you remember last season Jamee and Greg simmed matches from Monday to Wednesday and the injury sim was run on Monday. Alot of the time before Jamee posted results.

It doesn't make a difference when the matches are run. What matter is the injury sim is done after the all the sides are posted.
