I would still say Oman are a better side, they dominated that match against Thailand, just couldn't finish anything off. Thailand just got lucky with a few late goals. But you win football matches not on your build up play but your finishing and that was the only area Thailand were better then them in. It would suprise me if Oman beat Iraq, to really put the group on its head.
