Yeah went in down the order, overtook Barnes and got out for 234. Barnes later got out for the same score and always said he threw his wicket away so he could have the same score as The Don.

The thing is with Sid Barnes you would have no idea if was telling the truth or not!

Doug Walters 250
Don Bradman 234

Hints:

(1) 214, 204*, 203* and 201are the other scores
(2) Graeme Hick has the highest score at # 6 for England (178)

In at least one test really ****ty wicket[in england of course] and did not want to expose his opening batters to england quicks on a horror track so he reversed the order and by the time he came into bat wicket had dried out and the qucks were nullified.Hence his average at #6 is 97.29

Maybe a record for Bell to take shortly....
