**Official** Bangladesh in Sri Lanka

Lostman

State Captain
that shot was good compared to the two reverse sweeps he attempted off murali, both of those lbw shouts could have easily been given out as well. pretty pathetic that he now has almost seven years of international experience as well.

Nishan

U19 Cricketer
Horrendous shot from Ashraful.

Don't know what else to say really.
Yeah i am speechless and i am sri lankan! What a shame thats twice in the game so dissapontiing maybe someone should tell him in this game higest one can score is 1 and you cant hit the ball in the air.

He need to see some mental coach or someone to help his mental side of the game he is only 22 yes but surely he is got enough experience now.

Raghav

International Vice-Captain
I think Bangladeshi selectors handed over the captaincy to a 22 year old immatured guy. he needs to be a lot patient to captain a test side. Is nt it?

Nothing wrong with a 22yo captaining a bunch of 20 years olds. Also that was probably the most mature innings of Ashraful life, apart from one shot.

He certainly is in the test side.
His only one poor series away from getting dropped. For me he wouldn't be one the first Test batsmen i would select. Also two captains is the last thing Bangladesh need. They don't have the core group of seniors players like other countries to make it work.

Couldn't be further from the truth really. He's been one of Bangladesh's best 3 test bats for a while now.
I would have said the same about Nafees prior to the WC in ODIs, but he dropped. I was referring more the limited chances the Bangladesh selectors have given to players in the past. Especially when there someone at domestic or U19 level who looks like the next big thing. All it takes is one bad series and a couple decent performances from someone below to get dropped. The other thing for Saleh is lack of centuries, that would also count against him in Bangladesh continual search for players who can take their game to another level.

But regardless do you think its a positive or good move to have two captains. Saleh wouldn't get selected in the ODI side, so that rules him out for mine.
