What you mean like today when he's the most threatening bowler by far and Panesar drops an easy catch off him?
Not really, he troubled Gayle (which I could do just now), has one catch dropped off Shiv, which Harmison would also have dropped, and he's done nothing else.

Panesar, while admittedly bowling on a helpful pitch, has made things happen all day, what with ripping it out of the rough and all.

Well said. Constantly making things happen. Barely been an over without an appeal in it.

Based on what? I'd sooner have a chance in the field go to Harmison than Panesar, Harmison although lumbering has a safe pair of hands.

Good to see the Windies fighting hard, hope they gain some confidence for the next Test; and you never know it may rain all day tomorrow. Well it is England:-O

If the Windies can stay 5 down until say.. lunch tomorrow, they're not out of it. Obviously that's a huge ask though.

Will Panesar be fined for excessive appealing? I certainly hope he doesn't get away with it. Poms had no trouble giving it to us if they thought Warne over-appealed.

And always good to see Bob Willis proved wrong - he said they wouldn't get 200.

Could be an interesting day tomorrow if these two are still there at the close. At any rate it doesn't look as if England will be claiming the extra half hour.
