Gods this is awful. Wish they could at least bowl the overs a bit quicker and field properly. Can't believe I've spent £40 on a ticket for the odi at lords to watch this rubbish.

ODIs might be a lot better, should be a lot less between the sides even if the quality isn't great

This thread is unusually quiet seeing as the game is on. Feel cheated, I was well excited about posting at home in peace all day. Damn the lot of you :@

There isn't too much to report on though, hence my lack of posts.
Not good enough tbh. I can't watch, so I expect CW to complement Cricinfo & TMS for me :D

I reckon we could declare now and win. Wonder if we'll declare overnight (if we don't get bowled out)

Meh, what is there to say? Pietersen has played a couple nice strokes, Cook is just nudging it around and has barely hit anything decent through the off side. Fielding has been poor, a lot of twos have been run.

Depending on how long Pietersen stays in, I think England will consider declaring with 10-15 overs to go today.

Oh yes. It's ....

(Apologies if someone else has already said it, which is probable)

Reported, though that's presumably been done before.
oooh, forgot to report it actually. A simple, hha oh dear dire sufficed for mine

Only messin mate :D

I hope the game goes on for a fair bit of tomorrow tbh, just for my mate who has a ticket. He's been bricking it all week that we'd roll them in three days. When we left work yesterday, it looked as if it was going to be a nice close match, shame.

"Something to ponder," says Simon Perks. "Harmison and Monty currently have exactly the same average runs per wicket (30.73)." OK, pondered it. They are clearly two bowlers heading in different directions...
I don't think Monty's average will ever go much lower than 30 tbh, but I can definitely see Harmison's getting higher. Staggering to think he once averaged 24
