Well, the trouble is I've been banned from doing sheep jokes, so all I've got left is the intellectual stuff for Neil, Corey, Adam and Voltman.

On a different note, do I remember you saying something ages ago about you having been involved in comedy in some way in the past? Maybe I'm just making it up - it was probably just a joke that flew way over my head.

Only comedy writing. I tried stand-up at a comedy club when I was about 18, but I laugh at my own jokes. At the time, Ken Goodwin had a monopoly on that.

I tried comedy at a family function once but everyone laughed.

Strangely though, the best sportsman I know - my old first XI/rep captain, who made the NZ under 17s cricket team, NZ under 19 rugby team and has now got a full contract with Canterbury rugby (from reports I've heard, he was going to be replacing Reuben Thorne this year in the NPC but that hasn't happened) - is a really good, humble guy.

Couldn't figure out who this is, anyone have an idea? I was thinking Kieran Read possibly.
