I'm watching it. This French team really don't look like they want to be out there. A few rookie errors. Nice to see a few big hits in there though from both sides.

Toeava looks woefully out of his depth at this level. A couple of elementary errors last week and this week. He's cost us at least a couple of tries over these two tests.

hmmm, I wouldn't quite go that far, I've seen enough to suggest if he can improve his handling and option-taking he'll be a good 'un. Rokocoko having a top game so far as he goes in for another...30-3

Not doubting that one mate. Just don't think test match rugby is where he should be learning. If we're going to go down that route with these matches, I'd like to have seen David Smith given a go.
Rokocoko and Sivivatu have looked pretty good over this couple of games though Rodney has looked fairly anonymous. Mind you, I'd prefer anonymous over the sort of performances he turned in against the Yarpies last year.

I've always rated Tuiali'i over So'oialo actually. David Smith is in the unfortunate situation where he plays the same position as about 4-5 other guys who are all pretty damn good wingers also.

Yeah. I know. He could have done with playing full games for the Canes though, rather than getting subbed everytime that he looked as if he was playing at his best. I'd quite like to see an ABs vs ABs game. The two best teams in the world by a mile

Not sure about that last sentence (although I know it was a bit tongue in cheek). The yarpies played some pretty good rugby in the Super 14 and are a bit of a worry actually. They should be able to put together a very good team...so the Tri-Nations will be very interesting indeedYeah. I know. Yeah - I was just doing my impression of the rugby guys in the Dominion Post - though without the spelling mistakes. I'm rating the Yarpies and the Argentinians at the moment.

Yeah, he did scoot away nicely. Luke McAlistair using this as a trial match for European scouts it seems with some of these no-look passes. "Look, I'm the new Carlos Spencer"

Good match between Norths and Eastwood this afternoon. Classic rugby conditions, was great to watch.
Pity to see Japan giving the game away so easily here. They challenged Aus for the first 20-25 but now their defence has disappeared. Their forwards are definitely lacking in some force, too. Wingers doing alright though.
