CW Red vs CW Green - FC - CW Oval - June 3
H. Mørk -
5/10 - Solid first innings with the bat, would've liked to have seen you go and make the most of the start though, disappointing in the 2nd. Fantastic keeping, no byes, and a great stumping in the 2nd innings.
G.K.K. Dobson -
5/10 - Good fighting half century in the first innings, could've gone on with the start though, the 2nd innings was a bit of a letdown after being in good recent form.
R.J. Dauth -
4/10 - The 40 in the 2nd showed glimpes of a return to form, however the team needed a more composed innings after losing early wickets.
C.R. Dwyer -
2/10 - It seems the move up the order didn't work this time, possibly needed to play yourself in a little more. However 2 crunching fours off of Forner were gun...shame it didn't continue
D.A. Kearsley -
2/10 - After a gun start to the season things are turning a little pear-shaped. Another reasonable start with 17 in the 1st dig, but we really needed you to go on with it, we know you can
M.J. Robbins -
4/10 - Hung around with the bat in both innings which was a plus i suppose, some more runs would've been nice though
Great tight bowling in the 2nd innings. Shame you didn't go out on a better note because we know you deserved to
C.P. Thompson -
5/10 - Solid all-round effort. Blazed away with the bat in both digs, and really looked threatening in the 2nd, shame it couldn't continue. Bowled well in general, picking up 4 wickets with a reasonable economy rate
G.N. Nayak -
7/10 - Fantastic batting in both innings, really got us back into the match when things looked shaky both times. Solid bowling in the final innings to pick up 3. Just lost out to Bennett in MOTM stakes.
S.A. Bennett -
8/10 - You sir, are on fire. Great with the bat, you were the rock that enabled Nayak to carve up the attack, and grabbed a more than deserved 50 2nd time around. Bowled well in the 1st, and great in the 2nd, picking up key wickets. A deserved MOTM
D.M. Kennett -
7/10 - Another top class performance with the Ball, and your efforts with the bat cannot go under-estimated. Added vital runs with Watt at the end of both innings to break the spirit of the Greens. Might need to consider getting you to train the rest of us (barring Mork) in the art of the forward defensive shot.
D.J. Watt -
6/10 - Best no.11 going around. Battered the confidence of the Greens at the end of both innings, and was solid as usual with the ball. Unlucky not to grab a few 2nd innings wickets.
