Great win guys, excellent match, well played Locks, Nayak.

Good to see Wattles get some handy runs at the end, 57 of our combined 64 for both innings being off his bat.

TWas good. Bowling attack was potent, and some great work from our allrounders with bat and ball, that includes Watt.

Was good to have a bit of a tonk down the order, have been waiting a while for a few runs :p

Good effort guys, well done to the allrounders, they played well - DK again bowling solidly.

Keep working hard :)

CW Red vs CW Colts - OD - CW Oval - June 2

MD Luff - 1/10 - I think you can be excused for not scoring runs once or twice ;) i'm sure you fielded well though

GKK Dobson - 9/10 - Fantastic Innings!!! Part of the match winning partnership, unlucky not to be named MOTM. BTW, loved the 6 sixes (Y)

SA Bennett - 10/10 - The Ultimate all-round performance. Top of the class with the ball, and brilliant with the Bat. Easy selection for MOTM

DA Kearsley - 1/10 - I'm sure there's some runs for you around the corner mate, chin up.

H Mørk - 7/10 - Who are you, and what have you done with Mørk (who to my knowledge, doesn't scored 17 runs of 10 balls :p)? Quality captaincy, and solid keeping (barring the 2 byes)

CR Dwyer - 7/10 - Didn't get a chance with the bat, Good effective bowling to grab 2 important wickets in Bharat & Fitzsimmons

ZJ Ritchie - 5/10 - ummmmmmm....good fielding, safe hands (any ideas on how to rate those who didn't bat or bowl )

CP Thompson - 5/10 - Solid, if a little expensive bowling, getting Weber's wicket was important though as he was really teeing off.

M Reddlapalli - 5/10 - Solid although not exactly threatening bowling, would like to see that economy rate back down to what it was earlier though ;)

DM Kennett - 2/10 - Eeek, a little expensive, although given your mountain of previous impeccable performances I'm sure we can let you off this once :p. Took a good catch btw

SV Raghav - 7/10 - Picked up important wickets at important times in the match. I don't like to think what we would've had to chase had either Jaso or Towns kept on going. Well Done :)

CW Red vs CW Green - FC - CW Oval - June 3

H. Mørk - 5/10 - Solid first innings with the bat, would've liked to have seen you go and make the most of the start though, disappointing in the 2nd. Fantastic keeping, no byes, and a great stumping in the 2nd innings.

G.K.K. Dobson - 5/10 - Good fighting half century in the first innings, could've gone on with the start though, the 2nd innings was a bit of a letdown after being in good recent form.

R.J. Dauth - 4/10 - The 40 in the 2nd showed glimpes of a return to form, however the team needed a more composed innings after losing early wickets.

C.R. Dwyer - 2/10 - It seems the move up the order didn't work this time, possibly needed to play yourself in a little more. However 2 crunching fours off of Forner were gun...shame it didn't continue

D.A. Kearsley - 2/10 - After a gun start to the season things are turning a little pear-shaped. Another reasonable start with 17 in the 1st dig, but we really needed you to go on with it, we know you can :)

M.J. Robbins - 4/10 - Hung around with the bat in both innings which was a plus i suppose, some more runs would've been nice though :) Great tight bowling in the 2nd innings. Shame you didn't go out on a better note because we know you deserved to :)

C.P. Thompson - 5/10 - Solid all-round effort. Blazed away with the bat in both digs, and really looked threatening in the 2nd, shame it couldn't continue. Bowled well in general, picking up 4 wickets with a reasonable economy rate

G.N. Nayak - 7/10 - Fantastic batting in both innings, really got us back into the match when things looked shaky both times. Solid bowling in the final innings to pick up 3. Just lost out to Bennett in MOTM stakes.

S.A. Bennett - 8/10 - You sir, are on fire. Great with the bat, you were the rock that enabled Nayak to carve up the attack, and grabbed a more than deserved 50 2nd time around. Bowled well in the 1st, and great in the 2nd, picking up key wickets. A deserved MOTM

D.M. Kennett - 7/10 - Another top class performance with the Ball, and your efforts with the bat cannot go under-estimated. Added vital runs with Watt at the end of both innings to break the spirit of the Greens. Might need to consider getting you to train the rest of us (barring Mork) in the art of the forward defensive shot.

D.J. Watt - 6/10 - Best no.11 going around. Battered the confidence of the Greens at the end of both innings, and was solid as usual with the ball. Unlucky not to grab a few 2nd innings wickets.

:( Disappointing loss to blacks guys. Start city again :(, and the dropped chance of Arnold really hurt

The problem seems to be going on with the starts we've made...so many 20's, 30's, 40's etc. but so few centuries

Really bad couple of games for us Reds then, the FC game was lost when Cloete scored 240, but we really shouldve put up more of a fight for the draw.

As for the OD game well is that season over? I havn't sussed the OD tables. But i really hope we are still a chance.

With the upcoming FC game we just need to win and hopefully by a lot, if we do so then we 'Should' be into the final which would be fantastic.

Really sorry I let ya' fellows down. Coming in at number 3, I should be more solid and consistent. Ah well maybe next time :(.

Still a shout. Blue 37, Red 37, Green 36 - if we beat Green in the Oval we're probably through.

If we win the FC we're essentially through, btw (unless we recover from a 200 run deficit and the oppo runs up 400-2 declared). Blue and Black can't both beat us in that case.
