We only did at one point too.Doesn't really matter as we're only a small non commercial forum with no aspirations of global domination.
Welcome to the forumsThat's cool. Does that mean that I'm not allowed to post anylinks? did bring over a good twenty or so members to your rather good fantasy league....
Doesn't really matter as we're only a small non commercial forum with no aspirations of global domination.
Will abide by your rules as I've no desire to annoy ... unnecesarily
theres 3 barmyarmy, nightprowler and me except im not an admin/mod guyWe only did at one point too.
Now we have realistic aspirations to conquer all other cricket sites.
There are two posters on these forums who are active and known administrators at PlanetCricket. Certainly wouldn't be chastised for posting so much as a single link, I'd not imagine, but I'd wait for the boss' absolute confirmation.
If someone actually asks for the link as Turb did, I see naught wrong with you answering the question. If you went around splashing it around for no reason it'd be different, but he did ask.Hmmm... am I allowed to link this? It's a very small group which came about as a result of a larger forum being spammed as a result of no moderation. Just a 100 reasonably active members. Found this place as a result of the CWC fantasy league and we had a littlleleague with some of the regs. I'm interested in comntributing here but am worried i'll be seen as a spammer. I'm not.
Yeah, I'm sure lots of members here are members of planetcricket as well without a lot of posts - much more than three I'm guessing. I'm a member myself, simply because I downloaded a few patches from there for various computer games and wanted to comment on them. Was meaning those in admin roles, TBH.
Haha, it's not spamming to post the odd thing that doesn't relate to the title of the thread, even in the SD forum! Posts are only ever deleted if they're outright offensive or a complete and total waste of bandwidth (such as "I want the last post in this thread").Sorry for spamming your mod recruitment thread with my introduction, please feel free to delete it if it's inappropriate.
As Prince said, there are a few who post on both. I've seen Langeveldt, kweek, pinchy, Prince EWS, gambino, and some others on PC on numerous occasions. Rodgie posts in our BT forum now and then. Of course, the late Fardin was also a regular poster. Even won the "most improved member" award.Just found-out there was someone else, TBH, but have already forgotten who!
Actually, no I haven't, it was pinchy81.
Why would he be? He's only got posts in the single digits tbh. As I said only posts in the BT forum, and even that just occasionally.Haha, R0dgie's not banned from PC?
Chickens. If I got a six month ban from cricketweb, I'd probably become a regular at planetcricket so I'm shocked Rodgie hasn't. Then again, I just wouldn't get myself banned in the first place so it's redundant.
Why would he be? Because he's a lad who knows how to get himself into trouble. My surprise was not at you not banning him but not needing to.Why would he be? He's only got posts in the single digits tbh. As I said only posts in the BT forum, and even that just occasionally.
It's not hard to stay unbanned. I'm sure I'll manage.Chickens.
Hatching.
We'd probably describe ourselves as fairly lenient. It's pretty much a case by case situation; depending on the record of the member involved, severity of offence (things like posting porn usually result in an instant ban), and other factors. We have a separate forum for moderators to discuss things, and determine punishments, etc.Just as a point of interest (and back on topic as the discussion does relate to moderation), what sort of offence would you consider "banworthy"? Do your sites routinely give out warnings first? We're far too lenient in my view but was wondering where other people set the boundaries.
