The thing is, though, people start threads saying "X grand to Y" or "Another milestone to me" ATT, and rarely does anyone say "needless thread". I mean, nothing revelatory often comes out of them, but there's no harm in it IMO.

Far less of a problem than the bad old days when he was starting a thead an hour.

I didn't "blow up" for a start, and the only reason I commented was because andmark saw fit to trumpet his 1000 post achievement by not only creating a pointless thread in OT, but also saying so in here. As far as I'm aware, no-one else did that, so I have to assume they don't know about this thread.

As far as andmark being ten goes, he gets a little slack, but he has to realise there are all ages using these forums, and if he's intimidated by older people being forthright then perhaps he's better off not posting. At the very least he should know by now that a lot of members get annoyed at worthwhile threads being punted off the front page by people doing nothing more than egotistically banging on about their post counts in a bid to garner some compliments - and yes, that goes for whoever else saw fit to do so that day.

Actually I dont remember him saying "I'm only ten leave me" It's other posters who say he is only ten not andmark.
