Haha, you must have been away during the period when I rubbed it in on anyone and everyone.Haha, WTF? I never knew that.
Jammy sod...
(I thought you might have mentioned that game where Ashley Giles showed what a good attacking bowler he could be, too... )
SW\BLE has actually attended a game?
Yep - absent between July 2005 and February 2006.Haha, you must have been away during the period when I rubbed it in on anyone and everyone.
I did know, remember? You mentioned it and I ribbed you about it during our little chat after The Racism Affair Of '06.I don't know whether you already knew this or not - I assume you did, 'cause if not, it's a massive coincidence - but I did go to one of Giles' better Tests, at Lord's in 2004 when he got 9-fer in the match. Suppose you could say I went to two of his better Tests, seeing as I was also witness to that 59 at the Oval.
You lucky lad.I suppose mine was my first game due to the teams/players involved, the historical significance and my own involvement.

Firstly it was Englands first test win against the West Indies at home since 1969. A huge monkey to get off Englands back and was a big deal.
Ramprakash and Hick made their Test debuts and it was an exciting time to watch what we believed to be the future debut in front of us.
There were quality players everywhere you looked GA Gooch, MA Atherton, GA Hick, AJ Lamb, MR Ramprakash, RA Smith, RC Russell, DL Haynes, RB Richardson, CL Hooper, IVA Richards, PJL Dujon, MD Marshall, CEL Ambrose, CA Walsh, BP Patterson.
It was a stacked Test match in terms of players.
Also I celebrated my 15th birthday during the Test and it felt like a honour to be that young and do 'Test Match Duty' ie Bowling with the bowlers at the batsmen in the nets before play for both England and WI, catching with the baseball mit during fielding sessions etc Great experience. Also as I was there during the day in the pavilion I got to chat with a few guys. For that Test Lara was 12th man and everytime he took gloves or a drink out he would sit next to me on the bench and we would have a chat.
So basically an important game for English cricket, full of great players and a great personal experience interacting and netting with the players.
Regularly, and my standing within the game would boggle your mind.SW\BLE has actually attended a game?
Aha, yes. You've got a bloody good memory, TBH. I regularly have to remind the guy I went to that game with of the fact that we were actually there.Yep - absent between July 2005 and February 2006.
I did know, remember? You mentioned it and I ribbed you about it during our little chat after The Racism Affair Of '06.
Haha, well put. This whole persona is just a release...the confusion/ anguish it causes you, amuses me.
Haha, yeah, you're actually Shane Warne, then?Regularly, and my standing within the game would boggle your mind.
Haha! Confusion, anguish! If you only knew, sonny, if you only knew. This whole persona is just a release...the confusion/ anguish it causes you, amuses me.
10 years in August. I was actually in Lahore when the '96 final took place, but the political riots were bad enough for my parents to keep my ass home (I was 13 at the time). How long yo' been living over there?

I'm not criticising or insulting you I'm just giving you some advice. Click on edit and click delete. Just so you know.
