I dunno, it's not like there is any chance India will lose here, even a record breaking hundred wont make much of a difference. I don't think India will lose any confidence either after they win this in 3/4 days, by an innings and alot of runs.
But this is a real test to them and they must rise to it since you will get Kevin Pietersen and Hayden doing this when India go to England (June) and Australia (December).

GONE! Ashraful caught out by the little master at midwicket.

Good shot by Saleh for four off Sharma. Sharma is learning about international cricket the hard way. Wicket taking full balls do go for four often.

Saleh's average over 30 where it belongs. No doubt he'll get out soon and send it tumbling now that I've said that, but hey. :p

Ishant Sharma seems to have promise. Jeremy Coney on Sky Sports pointed out that he has a mixed action. Simply straightening that front foot would add a bit of pace as would getting a bit stronger. He is so skinny that nothing distinguishes his arms and forearms. He is 18, so hopefully he can hold off the weights for two more years and wait to grow fully.

A talent in the making, but should not be picked ahead of Sreesanth or even Munaf Patel...yet.

That was insane cricket from Mohammad Ashraful, was a shame he couldn't ton up but at least Rajin Saleh is continuing the attacking rear guard.

Is Omar the first case of a player getting out 1st ball of both innings? In fact, has anyone got a king pair before in tests? I know I asked this earlier but got no response. Might have to Ask Steven on Cricinfo

I know Gilchrist was out for a king pair in 2001 against India in Kolkata, but he obviously wasn't opening.
