IMO, send a development squad. Out of the current contracted players, Vettori (as captaon), McCullum (specialist bat), Franklin, Taylor, Fulton, Gillespie and Patel should be sent. Maybe Vincent too.

Bring in Diamanti, Thompson, Adams, Hay, Broom, Ryder and McGlashan.

Indeed, but this is a Twenty20 World Cup. The selectors should, and hopefully do, use this as a chance to experiment.

Beside, a young and experimental side probably have a better chance of winning the thing, especially if Bond and Vettori were included.

IMO Mills is even more important than Bond in this thing. He is our only genuine death bowler and yorkers are what ya need to bowl well in 20/20.
