Short and wide to Cook... worst I've seen Collymore bowl for yonks.Haha, middle and leg to Pietersen early. Dire bowling.

TBH, there at least has to be some place in the commentary-box for stating the obvious, otherwise they'd just shut-up for 90% of the time.Michael Holding

I hate the grip. My business partner and fellow coach teaches that grip and I walk away whenever he does as I want nothing to do with it.It's unusual, certainly. Kinda hard to describe in words, though. Are you watching?
I was winding you up, it was a very good ball.As I say above - I actually didn't realise how squared-up he'd been (though obviously that had something to do with the ball) but it's quite possible to edge a ball without doing too much wrong.
Your sentiments on Graeme Smith?I hate the grip. My business partner and fellow coach teaches that grip and I walk away whenever he does as I want nothing to do with it.
It invovles the right thumb wrapping around the handle and the complete elimination of the 'V' on the bottom hand.
Horrible. Just as the off drive for 4 was horrible by Shah. Bat came through at an angle and it was awkward.
No doubt if he scores runs domestically he deserves his opportunities when others are unfit but I really dont like the way he pushes at the ball and how he uses his hands in his shots.
Disagree, the West Indies vs England game was so very entertaining to watch. Still I'm loving this real cricket.Past few minutes have been better than anything in the WC, for mine.
I was just saying that he is always taking his batting gloves off and putting them back on again 10 seconds later.Haha, Pietersen did bat in the WC, y'know.
Not necessarily my thoughts on Smith, but I have had a lot of conversations with a number of different coaches and it seems the general concensus is that he scored so many runs so heavily for KES (King Edward School) that coaches didnt fiddle with his technique and now there are holes that have been exposed ie the head getting outside the line of the ball when playing to the leg side and they will be hard to fix.Your sentiments on Graeme Smith?
Hahaha, just *a bit* of talk on that. TBH, Bell scored a ****heap at six last summer, so it's probably better to have him there.Haven't read the thread, only just started watching, but why the hell did Shah come in at 3 ahead of Bell?
Nah, whilst I get your point, Malinga > this whole seriesPast few minutes have been better than anything in the WC, for mine.
Bell batting down at #6 where he has had good success in the past.Haven't read the thread, only just started watching, but why the hell did Shah come in at 3 ahead of Bell?
Meh, I watched nearly every game of the WC and really, it doesn't come close, even though this doesn't look like it'll be much of a contest either.Disagree, the West Indies vs England game was so very entertaining to watch. Still I'm loving this real cricket.
Replying to Gelman, TBH, not you. It annoys the heck out of me that he changes his bloody gloves so often.I was just saying that he is always taking his batting gloves off and putting them back on again 10 seconds later.
