Wow, Shah tried to murder that one. I see your point about the bottom hand.

Shah looked pretty nervous at the crease, good spell here from Darren Powell. Great to see KP in now, pasag returns at the right time :p

One thing the West Indian bowlers can take from this performance is the fact that they've only bowled one no-ball so far and no wides. They've been far worse in recent times IIRC.

And as I type, Powell gets Shah. Looks to have a few problems does Shah, IMO - poor judgement outside off being a clear one but evidently not what got him out in the end - even though he was caught in the slips!

Perfect delivery from Daren Powell. Shah never really looked that comfortable at the crease which is very understandable when playing for your place.

Agree on both points. Excellent delivery from Powell that was, not a lot wrong with the shot.

Didn't actually notice at first how squared-up he was there - and this HotSpot thing can actually tell a bit more than where (and if) something hits.

Aside from the fact he edged it?
As I say above - I actually didn't realise how squared-up he'd been (though obviously that had something to do with the ball) but it's quite possible to edge a ball without doing too much wrong.
