Haven't we been here before with Jewell? He left Bradford to go to the alleged bigger club in Wednesday where he pretty much tanked it.

Get yer money on City for the drop.

Sounds Roy Keane-esque by the sounds of it in that he clearly doesn't shirk from a tackle.

Apparently Jewell is genuinely going to take six months off....we'll see

TBH he left Bradford because, after keeping them up, the chairman said to him that he had had a bad season and needed to do better.

Pardon my ignorance as I wasn't a big follower then, but wouldn't of keeping Bradford in the Premiership been good enough? Was the Chairman expecting him to get Bradford into the European Cup?

Mind you it is quite funny to see where they have ended up

Sam Allardyce has wasted no time it seems, after telling Titus Bramble, Craig Moore, Pavel Srnick, Olivier Bernard (I thought he was long gone ) and Oguchi Onyewu to be moved along.

Like the Fa Cup for mine. I suppose you being an Arsenal fan BB I know it is meaningless for you.
It's never meaningless, but the Prem has devlaued it somewhat over the last decade (when we won it in 2003 it seemed very much like a booby prize after we'd piddled away a substantial lead in said league) & having to chose between yer Chavs & ManUre is really akin to having to chose the method of one's own execution!
