Making a big call here, that people will hopefully forget if it ever does (God forbid) happen.

If Australia lose this upcoming Ashes series, I will change my avatar to the first English-cricket related thing suggested, and my sig will read, in big, bold letters, 'England are officially better than Australia, and we're all a bunch of convicts.'

I do, however, wish to add that if, at any stage during live matches of the series, either McGrath or Warne get injured or are not playing, I am able to, at my discretion, withdraw this bet. That's the only condition.

So if one of them retires, gets dropped, or is injured for the series, I can withdraw my bet. Actually, let's just say if either of them miss any more than one game.

And I don't see the point in these nothing-to-gain forfeits (a la Hingston's original that started the whole movement), TBH. The real fun is in having a bet with another member, where if this happens or that doesn't happen one person changes the other's avatar, and vice-versa if the inverse.

What do you gain by saying "if The Earth becomes The Moon I'll eat green cheese"? The "Ha! See, I told you it wouldn't!" comment when it doesn't?

If someone could explain to me the thrill of this one-person-betting-against-event thing I'd appreciate it.
