***Official*** English Domestic Season 2007

Was the lbw out that was referred?
Possibly, but the benefit of the doubt (correctly) went to the batsman. Issues of height & possibly drifting down leg.

Given that the third umps are actually deciding whether or not the standing ump has made a howler beyond reasonable doubt rather than simply whether or not a shout is out it was a daft referral for me.

Meanwhile the rain round here has tooled up my Sky. :@

Plunkers picks up Loye. Short, wide & carved straight to Colly at backwards point.

Fred to the crease. Hope he's remembered how to hold a bat now.

Plunkers finds a jaffa to pick up Hodge. Comes back into the right-hander off a good length & clips the top of off.

Shocker of a referral again. Croft missed the ball by a good three inches & it balloons up off the pad.

Think sides are going to have to be a lot more discerning in their referrals than Durham have been. If they get a genuine shocker now they're buggered.

Fred holes out to a spinner. Who'da thunk it, eh? Durham clear favs for mine now. Lancs look at least a batsman shy here.

Meh, if these two don't hang around they'll contrive to get hammered by someone like Cork or Chapple.
Well that's helped. Croft stone-dead lbw to Breeze, who's bowled fairly decently in fairness to him. Pushed that one thru a bit quicker with flatter trajectory.

Clouds about too, Durham have to be well up on D/L if it rains.

Ha, Sutton sells Chappell totally down the river. Pushes the ball straight to Collingwood & sets off for a single. Result: direct hit, out by three yards.

Lancs wheels falling off now.

Scotland, after unfortunately losing on the last ball yesterday could be on course to give Northamptonshire a real scare. Chris Rogers, injury replacement Davey Jacobs and David Sales have some real work to do if they are going to overhaul Scotland's pretty impressive restricted response.

Anyone else hear about the last ball of the Scotland/Leicestershire match?.Rowe hit the ball straight to cover and all Watts had to do was throw the ball accurately into the keeper and he was out by a yard or two.He ended up chucking it past the keeper which gave Leicestershire the win.:@

Poor stuff from Lancashire for the wicket did not look that bad. Bit of turn for Keedy and now Breese but 220 was more than chaseable. Although, fair play to Plunkett his bowled well.

Darn it, Hall's failed with the bat for Kent again :@

Could do with Jones finding some form now really. We ought to be good at OD cricket, considering out lineup, but we usually find a way to bottle it.

LOL, that is the first I've heard of it, although, I knew Scotland were in a excellent position to win the game.

If Ireland can get KP, then they too have a decent shout at the Rosebowl for the weather is pretty appalling in the South.

Jones is out for 39, hasn't done enough really, hasn't scored quickly enough either. Not surprised to see McLaren in early. Be interesting to see if he can win his first game for us.

And before I have a chance to submit reply, he's out. Game over I reckon.
