Oh dear, Plunkers falls to a Saj slower ball:laugh:

Batted well mind, better batsmen then bowler, imho.

Ha. Loye deposits Killeen over the fence for six. Out next ball presumably.

Onions looked a bit brisker than the "medium fast" Sky have him down as. Up around 86-7mph.

& another off the first ball of Killeen's next over. Did Loye a disservice, clearly.

Plunkers or Harmy on soon, surely?

Meanwhile the complete numskulls on Lancashire radio are saying he's nowhere near Anderson/Flintoff/Mahmood pace...

Loye top edges Killeen into the car park now! Likes a slog-sweep, does Malachy.

Meanwhile bats are just beyond a joke now. He got nowhere near that.

Actually I seem to remember Loye having a relatively small and thin bat compared to other Puma makes.

Faster than Anderson & about on a par with Saj for mine. Won't get so much bounce off a good length tho as he's shorter & skiddier.

Harmy on now, see how he goes with the white ball. Interesting to see if Loye tries the slog-sweep now.

EDIT: Gets Chilton second ball. Huge drive at a ball that wasn't there & thin edge to keeper.

Yea, as I've said in some World Cup thread Australia's batting has evolved to utilise the new cricket bats and they're basically ahead of the game because of it. Guys like Hayden in particular just get stuck in against the bowling machines, play through the line and it doesn't really matter too much if they don't time it because they'll still get a boundary.

Super first over from Harmy. Every ball over 90mph. Only ball Hodge got bat too was the 93.8mph yorker he dug out.

Frustrating he doesn't bowl like that more often.
