On the bright side, it gives Tresco a chance to stand up for a team in a tricky position.

Well played thus far. :)

And 50* at Grace Road I would say is more of an achivement than his "failure" at Taunton (a centuary was par for that course). On other topics, IMO the England players should all play FC cricket before the First Test (just to get used to FC cricket again after the WC and to reaqaint themselves with English conditions .) They should be rested BETWEEN Tests but not before the first one. I still think Flintoff and Anderson should have played for Lancs before the first SA Test in 2003. PS - if I was a county cricketer my worst nightmare would be to have my county's university game against Cardiff or Leeds/Bradford . If I play against them I don't get the chance to inflate my FC average as they aren't FC....

Tresco gone for 77 - a fourth wicket for Masters.

Maybe he should be in the bowling lineup for the first test against WI?

Rashid already has 2 Durham wickets so far
Good to see Warks putting up some fight against Sussex, hopefully Trott gets a ton.
Interesting to see how Godleman goes today, he's 26* at the moment with Middlesex in some trouble.

Harmo's got one wide in 2 overs already.

Wouldn't surprise me if the four byes were off him, too.

Edit: And then gets Craig White caught behind...

Steffan Jones is a total legend :D 114, he got. Caddy didn't do too badly either - 51

Oh yes :D Why we opened with Tregs is a bit of a mystery....Charl soon sorted the situation out though :D

Good stuff by van der Wath at Lord’s, took wickets for fun in this years SuperSport with the new ball and he seems to be doing the same for Northamptonshire.

Rather unlucky to miss out on the World Cup but his tendency to bowl only two lengths made him hardly the most reliably of cricketers but good to see him amongst the wickets.

I doubt he bowled well enough to take a five-fer in just over 20 overs and for Durham not to be at fault in any way.
Encouraging nevertheless to see a young spinner take some many wickets so early in a season. Seems to be a real talent Rashid, here's hoping his handled 'correctly'.

Haha, now there's an idea...

Actually, I think Saggers is one for the underrated cricketers thread, but his time has come and gone now. A few years ago though, he was an incredibly reliable performer. He's been a real servant to Kent cricket in recent times.
