Semi Finals

Having a short-leg for George would be a better option.

EDIT: Nicholas trying to jinx the Aussies by saying "its not easy chasing in a big game like a semi-final".

They need to some how scratch their way to 200 - 220 or this is going to be another ho hum game.

Pfft, never rated our chances of beating the Aussies here, rate them even less now.. Gives me a good excuse to get drunk and mourn tonight though..

I hope Aus give Sri Lanka a good kicking in the final, fair play to them :)

Gibbs and Kemp doing a good steadying job here. If they can stay together for another 10 overs, South Africa can get something to bowl at here.

Yeah but even with that kind of total I don't think they have enough attacking bowlers to dismiss this Aussie lineup. Their batting really needed to fire to put some pressure on Aus. I hope I am wrong but I think it's game over.

No matter what they get, Hayden and Ponting could knock them off by themselves.

I think all hope of a competitive game flew out the window with De Villiers.

Breaking news We have just seen Malcom Speed and Percy Sonn in the same (empty) stand. Speed was wearing that starched under-siege grin we have grown to love, while Percy was sporting a fetching pair of 1950s braces. They look cool in 90 degree-heat. That's the first time since the tournament started in early January that they have both been spotted together.

Is this true? Empty stands for a world cup final?
