The Tharanga lbw was one. There was a Vettori lbw appeal on Jayawardene early I think as well, but I personally didn't think it was out. He probably means that one though.

Yeah the other one all though technically out was a fair call by the umpire, my other eye is a tad closed.

Franklin's been impressive IMO.

Compared to his usual self he was quite impressive, but overall I don't think anyone has had a good bowling effort. Franklin did get a couple of edges that ran away to the boundary early on though, so I suppose it wasn't too bad. His wickets were from poor shots, not good balls though.

SL are moving towards a big total considering the nature of this pitch and their bowling attack and now i think Black Caps would have come up something special with the bat to have any chance of winning this one.
