Jayawardene walks to the crease, minnow basher of an ODI cricketer. Need to really tie him up though and let Tharanga make a mistake.

Need Tharanga out. Sanga wasn't exactly sending the economy rates soaring so I wasn't as worried about him for the time being.

Class player, looked a lot more in control than Tharanga did. Didn't look like getting out until he had that little brain explosion.

Franklin looking like he could collapse at any moment. Needs to keep the fluids up.

Even though I'm Australian, this guy really makes me want South Africa to win so someone can quote all these posts and laugh.

Oh, and sorry KiWiNiNjA. :p

Serious? He's the one that I'd be most worried about. Even more than Jayasuriya tbh.
Just figured if we didn't get him out now, we'd get him out soon enough. His strike rate was low (and he's been the slowest scoring batsman in SL this tournament) and he's been below his usual quality throughout the cup. We definitely needed him out but I think that Tharanga, at the moment, is looking more dangerous. One had a strike rate below 50, the other above 100. Which would you say you'd want out sooner? :S

EDIT: Having said that, Sanga did score 69* against us in the last game. Out for below 30 against India, SA, WI, England, Aussie and Ireland though.

I'd probably want Sanga, on the basis that he looked less likely to get out. Tharanga looks like he could get out any minute - he's mixed good shots with some dicey luck.

Well, in any case, your words are a relief as I want him out sooner rather than later. :)

I can sense something strange happening game looks shaky for the lankans, the pitch carries well and if nz has their day they will pass 300 here. Sri Lankan batsmen have to step up now for their Australian date on saturday.
