I think you might be under rating Malinga there, he's always going to be a wicket taker. Even at 90% I would consider him a very dangerous bowler. Other than that your spot on!

New Zealand seem more likely, but Sri Lanka could very easily take it.
No doubt that Malinga will be dangerous - I just don't think he'll be quite his normal self after coming back from a decent-length injury.

I feel that people may be taking this injury to seriously. He was only out a couple weeks and possibly would've been able to play in the last two matches but they felt it wasn't worth it. And to give other players a good run.

I fear that he may not have even skipped a beat in his form.

Australia Vs South Africa the preview

Australia's win over New Zealand was not just a win, its a statement for whoever plays them in the Semi Finals and possible Final. Win convincingly. Australia are two wins away from retaining the world cup, two more games for crickets greatness. Anyone standing in Australia's way will be dealt with very severely. CRICKETS IMMORTALITY AWAITS MY TOUCH

Sri Lanka Vs New Zealand The preview

I dont really know who to barrack for I like Kiwi soup very much and as an aussie cricket fan theres nothing better than showing our superiority over our closest neighbour when we do play them in the final, but I hope Sri Lanka win, it will give us a chance to get revenge for the 96 disaster. It will also add to the chances of an exciting final which has gone missing in the last two world cups.

Before you get revenge for the 96 disaster better to ask shane warne to rejoin with the team then there could be a good competition because MacGrath can't single handle sri lankan with poor ponting men

Yes we can we just did with a seven wicket victory not to long ago, anyways warne's retired now he has a life a part from cricket. And we can still kick sri lanka's ass without the great man cause we just have too much depth. Australia A should play youse instead so we can all watch a humiliating DEFEAT of Sri Lanka

No I havent been watching too much 300, its one of the four movies ive seen in 2 weeks, the other 3

1. Are we done yet
2. Wild Hogs
3. The Shooter

I want to see Stomp the Yard and Disturbia this weekend. God Im addicted to that song by Trick Daddy featuring Lil John and Twista- Lets Go. Collingwood Football Club saw 'we were Heroes' (oh wat the heck i cant remember what it was called) Just before they take on Essendon Bombers and they played like heroes on the field on the Anzac Day Game. Imagine if the Australian Cricket team watch that movie, watch Stomp the Yard and listen to Survivor- the eye of the tiger.

Then they would be playing like heroes as they always do, they will stomp the cricket pitch, and they will play every single cricket game as if it was their last game, as if their life depended on it

I think this Aussie side would be more inclined to watch something like The English Patient or The Piano. their team song would be something from Savage Garden. All they are is bunch of blonde metrosexuals if you ask me - just look at Shane Watson!

It's like cricbuzz in here.
LOL no im not cricbuzz this is just my first day here. Anyways I do love my cricket in fact ive actually lost my 2 jobs because of it. First I use to work for an advertising company, but didnt turn up to work for 2 days cause I was at the Gabba watching the Ashes Thursday and Friday.

My second job that Ive lost like 2 weeks ago, my boss wasnt too happy when I turned up to work late, or didnt turn up to work at all, and when I did turn up to work I perform poorly because Im not hitting the sales quota, or spilling coffee on my table. The reason being because I would stay up to watch Australia play in the super 8s of the world cup and sleep at 6 or 7am and wake up at 9 am, and obviously my boss wasnt too impress about that.

Currently apart from sleeping, computering or hanging out in bars, clubs and cinemas I dont have much of a life really. You can also include cricket in that list and playing soccer. But Im still 19yrs old, and after the world cup ill be working again at last  , and ill be studying psychology in July. The good thing though is that for now I have all the time in the world to keep posting

Well, welcome to the forums, but if you're planning on sticking around, from my personal opinion and not anything official, do your best to try and not instigate anything, don't ruffle any feathers like starting threads about Indian cricket jokes, how South Africans are chokers and other threads about stupid sub-continental generalisations that are sure to offend. Especially since there are plenty of members from every other cricketing country on here. Also the 'my team is better than your team' crap comes off poorly on your behalf and as I said, that's cricbuzz stuff really.

But welcome to the forums nonetheless. You can introduce yourself here if you want.

Even as a fellow Sri Lankan, I think you are getting ahead of yourself .

As I had said a 100 pages ago (possibly in the Super 8 thread) you are not a Sri Lankan and probably a pretender claiming to be one with your deliberate mispronunciation and lack of commas and full stops.

I stand by it still.:)

Well isnt it true for Aus against every opposition. If any teams fail to pick 2-3 early wickets against Aus....they always lose....since Aus never give up then. So yeah...if SL picks 2-3 early wickets...the game is on...otherwise Aus will win. And even if we do lose 2-3 early wickets as I was talking about Australia's Depth Mike hussey comes in on the crease, and then its Andrew Symonds, and then Shane Watson and then Destroys them.

No matter how you look at its a lose lose situation:happy:

To cook a good australian kangaroo bbq sri lanka must play not 110% but 500%

As David Gower says Australia is just head and shoulders above the rest
