:-O

Farcical indeed. Strangely, in my game (flat pitch), the last set of 10 both saw heaps of runs scored (2/95 and 3/80, with 9 balls to spare) with relatively few wickets. What pitch were you guys on?

Haha i took a wicket and it was from my 2nd worst bowler comp/comp.

End of Over 38: 253-1, runrate=6.66
Priyantha 9-0-71-1

OUT! Good ball, hint of movement away, Chanderpaul drives and gets an edge, Clayton takes an easy catch .

Not too happy tbh. Erasmus and Canning (1/39) let me down the most really. Ah well. 2-1 to Jamee.

Kipper XI v Vindscreen Vipers @ Trentington Memorial Oval

Kipper XI: 4-298

Dove 151
Attwood 61
Brydon 45

Rhodes 2-64

Vindscreen Vipers: 4-299 (49.1)

Umar 133
Kumar 68*

Davies 3-48

Result: Vindscreen Vipers win by 6 wickets with 5 balls remaining

MotM: Umar (133 from 120 balls)

My MotM Dove (151 from 121 balls) - 18 more runs from 1 extra ball should have got MotM

Really should have made more than 298 given I only lost 4 wickets, then Vernon was spanked by Umar.

Dove's career average now 100.43 from 83 matches.

With a bit of luck i could get that, but i reckon Siram bowling will be too strong.

 Somehow managed to defeat PY. I'm guessing you rested a few players?

Boggles 10-175(41.2)
Chanderpaul 58(56) Taylor 48(68) King 21*(43)
Savage 3/16(5.2) Walton 3/43(10) Groves 2/39(10)

Clapo's XI 7-176(42.5)
Stroud 56(72) Moloto 36*(52) Walton 25(47)
Ferrel 3/34(10) Bardle 2/15(6) Chanderpaul 1/54(10)

Clapo's XI Boggles
Top Order: respectable superb
Middle Order: competent competent
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: respectable respectable
Spin Bowling: useless proficient
Fielding: abysmal feeble
MOTM: Chanderpaul

Not happy that Chanderpaul was given MOTM when Walton took 3-fer to trigger the final collapse, and then steadied the ship with Moloto after we'd collapsed to 6/114. Still, i beat a team stronger than mine :D. Thanks for the game PY :)

Still in with a chance against Sriram but we can't seem to lift the run rate. Only one good batsmen left after these two, so a couple wickets and its game over.

Not really much of an achievement itbt.

I don't know what happens in my friendly games. I rested two players and fiddled with my bowling and batting orders but still shouldn't have lost that game.

I guess the big different was the change that allowed 54 runs off 10 overs but still, well played Mr Clapham you deserved the victory. :)

I'm a bit happy with that. Warnock will be the Bardle of my batting, and Fillery is doing very well at the top of the inning. Kealey got hit around, as did Fitzpatrick, but Bardle's 2/15 was very good, and those are nice ratings for full strength.

Lost by 112 runs to Sriram in the end, but im fairly happy with the batting performance of my four good batsmen in this match, especially Clayton who got a hundred.
