Bopara run out for 26, a tad unlucky as he had trouble getting back around the bowler. Looking forward to seeing how KP goes.
TMS reckon he'd have made it if we ran properly. Typical bloody England! And Vaughan's limping badly. Just keep your heads boys - the RRR's nothing special now.

I'm just trying to judge if Vaughan is lucky or very lucky to still be in so I can get a good idea of his overall innings.
Very lucky I'd say, Samuels had to jump for it and reach oer his head but he really should have pouched it.

Hard to judge as a batsman whether you should run on a misfield though, especially if you can't see how far away from the fielder the ball has actually travelled. Vaughan's really struggling with his body, got some physio work while Pietersen was coming to the crease. Required Rate is just a touch under 6, so they still have a bit of work to do.

Lovely way to get off the mark Pietersen.

Woeful, great fielding by Bravo though. Was hoping to see Vaughan get a ton, need something special from Pietersen and Collingwood to get England close.

Make that Pietersen and Flintoff.

Collingwood drags Bravo onto his stumps.

What's with the term "golden arm"? It's getting such an airing, pissing me off TBH.

Collingwood gone, and his scores in the CB series seem like a very long time ago indeed.
Another gift of a wicket, in all honesty, and another game thrown away. They really do look like amateurs much of the time.

Never say never when Pietersen is at the crease, have some faith.

I'm still backing England while these two are there ...

I know it's a 'dead' match, but, regardless of the result, this could turn out to be the best match of the tournament. It's shaping that way.

God I love watching Vaughan bat. He may be rubbish at ODIs.. hell he may even be past it as a cricketer if you're to believe TEC.. but he looks great at the crease when in any sort of form. Good game from Vaughan while really under pressure for his place. Stupid way to get out though.

wow this is turning out to be good game...how many of you think england can win it from this position? how many thinks vice versa?

Not a good situation for Dalrymple. Don't know what the hell he's doing in the side if he's going to bat in an unsuited position and only bowl three overs. I'm a fan of his, but his role in this game is ridiculous.

Dire from Flintoff. What was he trying to accomplish with that shot?
Well I'm sure he wasn't trying to pick out the man at long-on. Looking at the replay I don't think he intended to hit it as straight as that, it looked to me as if he was trying to work it through mid-wicket.

If he was actually trying to clear the rope at long-on that was a ridiculous risk to take.
