yeah...but win over the windies wouldn't do much good to either side...people would still be either calling bd minnows or the people who already know they aren't on the other hand people would go after lara and windies again like they have been doing...

Are you kidding? If Bangladesh had've beat the West Indies it would mean 3 wins over Test playing nations, which would have been a big acheivement. Say what you want about how woeful the West Indies are, I refuse to beleive it "wouldn't do much good" for Bangladesh if they were able to beat the host nation.

well, i dont know...cause look bangladesh beat india and south africa? and people still saying those were flukes...i'm not saying windies are woeful but the critics would dismiss it like that and criticize the hosts even more...i just hope they beat england too in their last match...put in this way, it would do way more harm to west indian cricket than it would help bangladesh cricket cause face it people who still think bangladesh's wins were flukes etc would still think that and people who gave credit to them are still going by that...but it would do more harm to west indian cricket which is already going down the drain with more people taking up soccer nowadays...

Winning games is what cricket is about though, really. Not making people say certain teams are or aren't minnows. Your post is like saying that Australia winning this WC would mean nothing because everyone knows they are the best already.

You've become so obsessed with trying to prove that Bangladesh are "up there" with the rest of the sides that you've lost the simple joy of being happy when your supported side wins. Get back to basics.

I think we struggle against SRL more than AUS.. Biggest hurdle is SRL than AUS
