Gutted that I cannot watch. Visibly shaking here at my desk. Got a lot of work on at the minute but made sure I am doing tasks that I don't need to leave my desk for, and the group I am looking after should be able to work quietly this afternoon. If they know what's good for them

England bowled so well on the track first up against Bang though which is my concern.

Did you guys outside of England see that buildup by Nasser Hussain? It was so good! Really showed how competitive this game is likely to be.

This too might be near to impossible considering the recent AUS form,, but again this can be possible if Bond fires. It all depends how NZL bowls against AUS. One thing is for sure. NZL should keep the pressure on AUS batsman all through the 50 overs to win emphatically.

They really need to bowl Aussie out

Did anyone see that? In the interview at the toss, the caption said under Graeme Smith's name "Man of the Match".

Someone's supporting SA...

When Fleming brought up his ton against Bangladesh, the captaion read "Hamish Marshall- 1 ODI century", and it did the same thing on another occasion when the captain said "Kumar Sangakarra- 6 ODI centuries" but I can't remember who the player was.

Why is Ntini out?
He's been struggling with his bowling whereas Langeveldt had been good before his exclusion, Nel came into the side for him and performed meaning that he had to wait until another of the seamers lost form.

You're saying Ntini was dropped because of poor form? :-O

Ntini's exclusion is baffling. If RSA watched the England game v Bang they would have seen the bounce and carry that the quicker bowlers got. Surely Ntini would be a handful on this track.

Although Langeveldt is swinging it and is getting bounce outside the offstump. Should get Vaughan to be playing at it though.

Backing Vaughan to get double figures here, should be a big accomplishment for him.

Atlast a run!

Pollock to Bell, 1 run, good length delivery on the stumps, slanting into the right hander, Bell opens the face of the bat and runs it down to third man for a single to off the mark, England are away!!!

Vaughan hits and misses...missed outside edge...Really tough for him to get through these initial overs
