3/68 after 25 overs.

South Africa will not win this. Not in a million years. Not a chance in hell etc etc.
I will keep this in mind as a possible Greigy, although it looks unlikely I wouldn't put it past them if these two bat for most of the innings and then let Boucher and Pollock come in later and belt a few around. They could make 250.

I disagree and it's not your position to tell him how to post.
I wasn't trying to tell him off or anything, I'm just saying that it would be much easier going through the thread if there weren't so many consecutive one lined posts.

I happen to like the activity, even if it is only coming from one person.

Well whatever, it's personal preference. I was just making a suggestion, it's up to him whether he wants to follow it or not.

Backing Gibbs for a ton here, I'm pretty confident he'll get to 70 atleast. Prince needs to be showing some more aggression though, playing the spinners from the crease isn't really working for him and he needs to start picking the gaps. He's a quick guy so if he gets the ball in the right area then there should be plenty of twos on other.

Prince hits a 4, just the 4th boundary of the South African innings.

Time for South Africans to accelerate one would think.

Can't understand why are the South Africans trying to do,they are hardly showing any intent with their batting.

The old addage of doubling your score at 30 overs if you have wickets in hand means that South Africa are looking at around 180. The Black Caps will want to restrict them to about 160 with some good bowling and regular wickets though.

Bond's final 4 overs will be crucial I think.. and they should not be left to the death IMO.

Looking forward to seeing Boucher bat actually. Haven't seen him bat for yonks. Lately I always see his name on scorecards scoring an amazingly quick 50 or 100. Should be a treat to see him bat.

Wouldn't you rather see him go first ball?

I'd give him another over shortly, maybe between 35 and 40. If he looks alright during that over then give him one more, but he's going to be our main death bowler so hopefully him and Patel can keep it tight and accurate when South Africa's lower order hitters come into the game.
