Sure will be a good game, can't believe it's not being shown though. Channel Nine's seriously the worst channel.

Good to see that the weather forecast is looking great. Hooray.

I'm interested in seeing how well Taylor plays tonight. He was troubled by Vaas in NZ, getting out LBW maybe 2 or 3 times IIRC. Hopefully he has corrected the problem technically, if he keeps on playing it across the line, instead of straighter, early on against Vaas I'm gonna rip my hair out.

Yeah, they are covering every single game of the WC live. Even the group matches - and even when there were two at once.

However, not everyone has Foxtel.
Yeah, exactly. I'd like to get it, but I just cbf putting forward a convincing enough case for it to the parents. I don't really watch TV that much anyway, I'd mainly just use it for cricket tbh.

Massive disappointment that Ross hasn't had the chance to be one of the stars of the cup, as I had hoped. Still, he has possibly 5 big games to make his name in. I think everyone struggles against Vaas with the new ball, if Vaas gets it right- but remember the big 120+ Ross made against SL?

Hmmmm, well I suppose, I was at McLean Park that day  (128 btw :p)

Was a great knock. A bit nervous early on, and same towards his 100. Great atmosphere when he was on 99, there were only about 5,000 people in the ground but it was like 20,000 cheering him on. Would have been my best memory of my trip home, but Michael, Mark, Andre, and James ruined it for me :@ Not that Sanath didn't bat well but....

I certainly remember him getting stuck in the 90s. However, I don't really agree so much with people saying he is a nervy starter (I've heard it a few times). To me he is a very decisive starter by NZ standards...I almost feel that he is just too decisive sometimes and gets himself out...but if he doesn't get out, he looks solid from ball 1...I know that's sorta contradictory but maybe you see what I mean.

Ive always found that he is either a run-a-ball after like 20 minutes, or he is batting at about a S/R of under 50 after 20mins then up to 100 after 25mins if ya know what i mean.

Never saw that one coming
Just looking at the stats on Cricinfo, majority of the New Zealand batsman are absolutely bunnies to either Chaminda or Murali. Only guy who has anything like a good average is Fulton.
