This is what I recon 8-)

SA lost to the Bangors for the simple reason that the Bangors won’t be a threat if SA hands them that 2 points. Losing to Ireland would set the rugby fans on fire back home so no way we could have done that.

NZ will beat both SA and Aus leaving them on 12 points. Aus will win its other 2 remaining games leaving them on 12 points but with a lesser Net RR they will be in the #2 spot.

SL will beat NZ and Ireland leaving them in 3rd spot with South Africa coming at #4. So Smiths little plan to play NZ in the semi's has worked ... UNLESS NZ wins the SL game and in doing that levelling the scores between SA and SL ... so that’s why he ****ed up our Net RR this morning with the ball see easy to explain.

In the semi's SA will play NZ in St Lucia one of their favourite grounds and hand down a severe whipping just to bring them back to earth. Doesn't matter who we see in the finals between SL and Aus however do think it will be SL.

And so the 2007 WC is explained

Well, on the bright side WI still have an chance, if SA loses the next two and WI wins by a lot. :p No really though this wasn't a good wc for the WI in any way from the low crowds to bad team performances. It doesn't seem it will go uphill for them as they hoped before the wc.

O'Brien has infinitely more chance of that IMO.
O'Brien has no chance tbh I have already told you folk he does not want to play for England he is grateful for the system ie County Championship and National League or whatever they call it these days but he has already stated to 100-150 people that he did not want to play for England.

This is the table atm:
Code:
Australia 3-0 --- 6pts
Sri Lanka 3-1 --- 6pts
New Zealand 3-0 --- 6pts
South Africa 2-2 --- 4pts
England 1-2 --- 2pts
West Indies 1-3 --- 2pts
Bangladesh 1-3 --- 2pts
Ireland 0-3 --- 0pts
These are the fixtures, with my predictions to the side:

Australia vs England - Australia win
Ireland vs New Zealand - New Zealand win
West Indies vs South Africa - South Africa win
England vs Bangladesh - Bangladesh win
Sri Lanka vs New Zealand - Sri Lanka win
Australia vs Ireland - Australia win
South Africa vs New Zealand - New Zealand win
Bangladesh vs Ireland - Bangladesh win
Australia vs Sri Lanka - Australia win
South Africa vs England - South Africa win
Ireland vs Sri Lanka - Sri Lanka win
West Indies vs Bangladesh - Bangladesh win
Australia vs New Zealand - Australia win
West Indies vs England - England win

Which would leave the table:

Australia 7-0 --- 14pts
New Zealand 5-2 --- 10pts
Sri Lanka 5-2 --- 10pts
South Africa 4-3 --- 8pts
Bangladesh 4-3 --- 8pts
England 2-5 --- 4pts
West Indies 1-6 --- 2pts
Ireland 0-7 --- 0pts

And the semis as:

Australia vs South Africa/Bangladesh
New Zealand vs Sri Lanka

So, let's see how wrong I am (hopefully starting with a bad prediction on Match 1)...
Well, that's me 3-0 so far...

Interesting that 7 out of the 9 bookmaker odds that I checked have SL very slight favourites against NZ for Thursdays clash. I would have thought with the news Malinga is out would have swung the odds slightly in NZ's favour to be honest. But 2 very even teams. A lot will depend on the toss IMO.

Ok what the hell does Mahmood have on Fletcher, there's just no other excuse on the planet that could warrant that useless donkey being picked over and over again.

I hope Fletcher gets absolutely ripped to shreds after his astronishingly crap selection knocks England out.

Well, once Bangladesh hammer him around, he'll hopefully get dropped for the following matches. Sadly though, it could well be too late...

In saying that though, I expect England to win fairly convincingly today. Bell to score a ton IMO, and Anderson to dominate with the ball.

It seems Fletcher has made up his mind that Plunkett won't play any part in this WC its ridicouslous stuff from Fletcher.
