State Regular
I posted in the black thred for the 2nd time in a week to tell one of my players not to post in there. I have not been asked not to post in there. You have been asked by the Green captain not to post in this thread and you continue to do so. Are you trying to annoy me? If you keep annoying people you will be looking at starting your career in a suspended state. PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD AGAIN. That includes not responding to this post. If you have more questions ask someone in the team you eventutally sign for. That is not us.

CW Green v Khulna Division

The latest CW Green warmup game began when Khulna won the toss and decided to bat on a pitch that looked full of runs. The early signs looked good with Forner taking the wicket of Imrul Kayah and then dismissed Sajjidul Hasan as well to make the score 40/2. The next partnership went past the 50 runs marks when Gundry was brought on to bowl some spin which yielded instant results to leave the score at 127/3 at lunch on the first day. The next wicket didn't fall for 15 overs as another 50 partnership was scored before McNamara took a catch off his own bowling to see Habibul Bashar back to the pavillion just short of his 50. The new ball was taken shortly after the next partnership reached the century mark and after a few overs Forner had Jamaluddin Ahmed out for 49. Shortly before the end of the day Forner had another wicket in the form of Abdur Razzak. The day ended with Nazmus Sadat cruising along at 188*.
Sadat brought up his double century early on the second day and the 100 partnership soon following. The partnership continued til the first over after lunch when Mohammed Salim was dismissed by Cunningham on 68 whilst Sadat was still going strong on 248. Gundry got Mortaza plumb lbw on 21 and shortly after took the wicket of Sadat who finished on 275. First ball of the next over Speirs trapped Rasel and Khulna finished on 566 ao. Forner and Gundry being the best with the ball for Green.
Green needed a good start but Hogarth was out for 2 in the 3rd over. Malone and Rodgie looked to start up a good partnership reaching the 50 mark by tea. Rodgie scored his half century shortly after the break and Green were going well til Malone was out for 42. The score was at 126/2 and was certainly looking solid. Rodgie rode his luck, giving away some simple chances which were spilled the partnership lasted the day out going past 50.
Read reached his 50 on the 3rd morning but 2 overs later Rodgie was gone in gutting fashion on 99. Corrin was dismissed 10 overs later for 17 shortly followed by Read for 70. With the score at 254/5 it was looking like Green would easily fail to pass the follow on mark. Speirs and Cunningham put on 50 between them with Cunningham the dominant partner reaching 50 and then getting out on 55. Speirs soon followed him, his 22 lasting 74 balls. Forner didn't last long, out for 2 and Gundry played a brief run a ball cameo for his 22. Cameron and McNamara put on another 26 before McNamara was dismissed whilst 187 behind.
Not suprisingly CW Green were asked to bat again. Following on, CW Green made many starts but only Cunningham made a half century as noone seemed to be able to stick with it. Everyone down to 10 and 11 made double figures and despite the lack of anyone making a score CW Green managed to club together 309 setting Khulna a relatively small total of 129 to win.
Cunningham dismissed Hasan and Kayash whilst the score was on 23 and 33 to give Green some hope, which was furthered when Speirs took the wicket of Sadat and then Tushar Imran to make the score 59/4. However Habibul Bashar and Jamaluddin Ahmed put on 64 to see Khulna home with only 38 minutes left in the match.

MoM: Nazmus Sadat - 281 runs.

CW Green MoM: B.C. Cunningham - 2 half centuries and 3 wickets.
