This is pretty shocking batting if I'm honest. Fulton is still there but isnt exactly looking fluent.

If NZ were playing someone a little more talented they would be in serious trouble atm.

As they say, "be careful what you wish for - it might just come true." NZ fans calling for their middle order players to be given a chance to play longer innings asked for this really. :p

if nz were playing someone a little more talented then they wouldnt be batting so shockingly

blatent complacy is inevitable, no matter how much they would have denied it being a factor beforehand

theyl still make sure they end up with a good total when it comes down to it

I disagree with you. They just haven't batted well at all. It's not as if they have gone in and started thrashing it with classy shots and then getting out... they just gave it away. - and I don't see how complacency makes this occur.

These Irish can field...

it has been an outstanding feature of their play throughout the tournament.

I think they have really done themselves proud in this world cup
I guess causing the biggest world cup upset ever would make any side proud.

Completely agree.
Yeah, I think Swervy is putting far too much emphasis on the partnership of Bell and KP. Whilst it was very good, and put England in a good position. it was still only 20-25 overs max (can't quite remember) of the match. The rest of it, Australia were well on top.

*sigh*

Oram played himself in all that time, and he finally plays a shot in anger......right down long ons throat.

Don't even know why I bothered staying up for this when i could be getting some much needed sleep.

Really have to admire the way Ireland have competed here. Made my shout of 350+ look a tad silly. Hard to know exactly how well they've done until they bat, of course, but from what I've seen the pitch has no real demons in it.

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
In all the games I have watched them, have been very impressed by the line they bowl apart from the persistance unlike professional bowlers from India, England who find this so difficult.
