England were going to lose anyway, but why was the ball changed when England bowled and not changed when Australia bowled? That sort of thing does make a difference.

Finished with another Mahmood delivery being smacked for four...very appropriate.

Like I said earlier Broad and Plunkett must come in for Panesar and Mahmood. Can't really do much with the batting unfortunately other than shuffle things around a bit.

With NZL, Aus and Sri almost sure of qualifying for last four stage, I think there would be interesting battle for the last spot.

South Africa are the favourites for the last spot but they can always choke and have to play stronger opponents.

:D:D Another polished performance from the Aussies. It seems as if the only way Ponting's going to get out this WC is run-out. It's good to see Clarke back in form after an indifferent Tri-Series, and was a pleasure to watch KP bat.

I cant really see any teams beating Austalia, but the semis look pretty set now that england lost thier chance, now they have a chance as much as WI and Bang.

SAF, Eng and WI have already played against Ireland and Bangladesh haven't. That's significant.
Yep, that true! I reckon that bangladesh can beat england and WI if they play with the same energy as they did against SA...but im not sure if they will....

Great to see Pietersen scoring a ton, this man really is class against the best in the business. Soft dismissal for Gilchrist though, I was disappointed. Anyone else notice that he isn't gripping the bat as high as he used to? His top hand used to be right at the very top of the handle, it's slipped down a bit now and it doesn't look as unorthodox.
