Super Eight

Three off the first Hogg over. Looks like both Bell & KP have come with a premeditated game-plan (although I suppose, by definition, game plans are premeditated :p) to sweep him. KP missed out on a nice juicy full-toss 'cos he was determined to sweep.

England fans should feel ripped off here if their team doesn't make 300, pitch offering absolutely nothing for the bowlers, with Bell looking in sizzling touch and Pietersen in. Might be worth giving Hussey a few overs of stump to stump here.

Athers says 260-70 bare minimum. I reckon somthing closer to 300 myself. Long batting line up for Oz.

Four for KP as I type. Clarke serving up buffet stuff now. Last over of this spell for mine.

Hogg bowling the Michael Bevan "Variations on Rank Full-Tosses". Lucky not to have a couple of 6s hit that over.

Hogg's bowling some **** here. Can't see any one getting wickets except Tait, might be worth a 2 over burst to get a breakthrough.

Roy’s into the attack, his bowled nothing more than pies all tournament and the runs should continue to flow. Only worry for the batsman should be Tait with the older ball.

News from TMS is that in Somerset's friendly match against Devon today, a 50-over affair, Marcus Trescothick made his comeback.

He scored 256. Yes, that's TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX. :-O :D :D :D
