If you contemplate or accept that captain Smith had Ashraful caught behind for next to nothing then whose to say Robbie P would have not bowled well. Sri Lanka a far better side and they did not slaughter Robbie, so its not beyond the realms of possibility that a side who were in pretty much worse strife than Sri Lanka would suddenly annihilate a guy whose not going to bowl either at the death or his full quota of ten.
