I want Viv Richards. Not sure if he can coach, but if anyone speaks up, he'll shove a stump down their throat.

Really, if you need to motivate someone at the Test level, you have some problems. I just want someone to come in and stop all the little prissy whining. I could just see Richards punching some crybaby out in the dressing room.

Therefore adding extra fuel to fire? motivating them further? Beacuse players such as Vaughn look like he couldnt give a toss if he does well.

Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore has thrown his hat into the ring to succeed Greg Chappell as Indian cricket coach.

On the day Chappell handed in his resignation, two weeks after the team's first-round exit in the World Cup, Whatmore confirmed his interest in taking over the reins in India from his Australian compatriot.

The 53-year-old Whatmore coached Sri Lanka to World Cup success in 1996 and has worked wonders with the Bangladesh team, who effectively condemned India to an early exit from the World Cup with a surprise victory in the group phase of the competition.

The Indian board meets over two days starting Friday to delve into the World Cup debacle and discuss the subject of the next coach.

I just have to laugh at Jack's twice editing a thread-starter post of yours in a matter of hours.

Congrats on giving-up the mod impressions and moving-on to general-article-writer impressions, mind. :)

that's a real suprise....but guess money got to him:p
Except India doesn't really pay their coach more than England/Australia. He made around $180,000 in salary,$20,000 in travel allowance, a flat in Banglore, and match fees equivalent to the players (so add about $100,000, I guess). That comes out to be around $300,000 - $350,000. Doesn't seem to be to be all that high. Not sure what the coaches in England or Australia make, but can't be lower.

I thought that was the Beatles.
Haha. I was exaggerating a touch. :) B*Witched > The Beatles for me, I enjoy their stuff far more, but obviously The Beatles were a far more influential and, to most people, better act.

But yeah - B*Witched were awesome IMO. I look forward to your next careless avatar-bet that I spot where I can give them to you again... :D

Worst post ever. I'm this close to throwing in a roll-eyes.

Hey, musical preference is a very individual thing. A Rollercoaster, you might say... and in attempting to explain it you're doing something as obscure as to Blame It On The Weatherman. In fact, forget it. Jump Down off yer pedestal, Gelman.
