I have to agree here. Pictures make the place look untidy. Next we'll have the obsession with banners as they do on the other forum.

Yeah, ditto. Really get on my breasts. One thing that always set CW apart from other inferior forums was the picture-free sigs.

Kudos to any staffer who hasn't succumb to this baffling & disturbing trend.
Me, I feel there are certain things that deserve a picture in the sig, TBH.

Perhaps, but is a Manchester United logo one of them? Or whatever the hell Simon has now?

Staff members are abusing this system IMO - fair enough to have Woolmer there for a little while, but the fact that roseboy has a ManU logo and no-one else can is nothing more than elitism for no particular reason.

Being a Man U fan myself you can hardly expect me to be completely unbiased here but...

Yeah, I see what you mean. I do prefer the place without sig-pics, TBH. But equally I'm very glad to be able to put a Bob Woolmer tribute in there when I have been, so I'm not gonna complain. I see your point about elitism, but we Staff have to have the odd privelidge now...

Also, I suppose Xavier's avatar hardly makes it a secret that he's a Man U man. :p

The Man Utd pic is only there for a short while. I'll replace it with the pic of CP that was there before very soon.

Wouldn't mind seeing them all removed, regardless of content. Or an explanation as to why staff require the privilege, seems like a waste of space to me. If you really need to display a picture, use your avatar.

I think access to the Staff Forum and the Deleted Posts sub-forum is more than enough "privilege". Although I guess this could be part of the reason for the staff profiles push...

I may be mistaken, but I'm sure by the end of my time on Staff we had stopped seeing the deleted posts sub-forum.

TBH, some of us (me, for instance) like a perminant avatar, and I'm glad I've been able to use a sig-picture in this instance.

I'd have no real desire otherwise, mind.

So basically your noble desire to commemorate a great man isn't worthy of your avatar? Hmm. Kinda lessens the tribute somewhat, doesn't it? Especially given your avatar...
