Alright for the Round of 16 all the teams that came 1st got put into one pool and the teams thta came 2nd got put into another pool. This was so that all the teams that came first didn't play each other. Also all the teams that came first got a home match. No team that played each in their groups matches will meet until the final (if both teams make it that far).

For the Quarter Finals on wards it will be just be a random draw, with no team playing each other from their group. I was considering separting the top four from each other but IMO the gap between Rob and the top four these days is very minimal. I might reverse that decision if there is enough managers that feel they need to be separted.

Decent innings from Slaytor, the only highlight for my guys really. Would never have had a chance anyway, but my fitness levels are stuffed, so that probably ensured a total hammering.

Not just Bertos...

Getting thumped by Rob, bowled out for 183 with Ralph ripping out two in his first over. Surprised I got that far after that start. He removed 2 of the three decent bats and McMillan did for the other one.

Damn the lack of uber bowlers on the TM at the moment.

Batting order finally fired for the first time in a few weeks, Dove in particular made runs for the first time in a while. That win takes me through to the next round, probably in second place behind College Dropouts.

Fielding went down from Friday for some reason, guess that little bit of fitness made a difference.

The attendance at today's game was 31,000. Surely that's rubbish for a friendly?

Yeah there seems to be a problem with receipts etc Allan is on a plane atm or very soon and is due back in the UK on Tuesday I think it was and will fix it then IIRC.

PY

International Coach
Haha yeah I was going to say. No receipts at this end.
I've not had any either, I got some on Friday morning though before the bug kicked in.

Good game by the way, the gulf between our sides was shown to be pretty big wasn't it? Desperately need to sort out a decent quick bowler and get rid of Ferrell until he's better than resp-comp.
