I've got five superb+ and a strong/prof. Will probably sell Baird (sup/med) after next week though, but he doesn't contribute much with the bat anyway (188 @ 23.5 this season). Only real benefit of having the extra batting depth is that it delays the collapse long enough for a good batsman at the other end to add a few runs. Generally though I either get all out or only 1/2/3 down, depending on the strength of the opposition.

Quick question, and lots of quick answers would be tops - Do you think a Superb/Worthless captain would be better than a Proficient/Feeble captain? (leadership/experience)

Well you`re all too late, I`m going to bed, and when I lose tomorrow, it`ll be on your heads. Picked the Superb ftr. :)

EDIT: Haha, just changed to Prof. Played 24 matches with my superb captaining. Risk much?

Well it doesn't really make much difference either way tbh. The Superb leader should be close to abysmal experience if he has captained your side for 24 games but the Prof/Fee gives some captaincy experience I think they would both be pretty similar tbh.

HMmmmmm, decided against winning today, if i'd continued to bot bash i would've been auto-promoted into one of the top 5 australia Div IV leagues, something my team is seriously not ready for. I'll drop back around 150 places in the promotion tables.

Patterson sold for £3.8mil to Bulldogs CC where he'll probably be a starter in the English Cup final on Sunday. Wow. This leaves me with £6.3mil so i've got about 4.5mil to spend on a new bowler.

Okay, still pretty pissed off that both Dylan and Jephcott got to 146 then got out when they both should've pushed on to 160-180 not out.

Haha. Got absolutely **** upon in my game, as expected (I rested Canning, and was on TIE). Not going to do my run rate any favours at all, but meh.

Beechboro Titans 6/321
Erasmus 3/64, Fernando 2/62, Tedstone 1/55

Magical Ponies 20 (10)
Terry 8 (21), Farmer 7 (19), Erasmus 3* (3)

I can't see the commentary, but I'm fairly sure that Stanton (6/10 from 5) would have taken a hattrick with his first three balls, as my numbers 2 3 and 4 were all out for goldens.

Beechboro Titans Magical Ponies
Top Order: remarkable competent
Middle Order: mediocre competent
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: remarkable competent
Spin Bowling: respectable proficient
Fielding: mediocre abysmal

Haha, collapsed and lost my game. Guess that's what you get for going with GFI two weeks in a row. I'll probably finish third in the league now, barring a big increase in NRR in the remaining games.

Think I may have been GFI'd today. :(

Got rolled for 239 after being 215/2 and they are rattling along at six an over after 12. Lose my top spot which sucks.

Man i had a perfect oppurtunity to score 400 today and none of my batsmen could really get going. I ended finishing just below my highest ever score of 373, which is pretty annoying as i was going at 7 an over the whole match. On a positive note Clayton took over from Marc Ferrier as the club leading run scorer in competitive matches wih his 118. Also Rosenior got his highest ever score in a competitive, with only his 2nd decent bat ever. Hopefully i can roll these guys for under 50 and Jeithoon takes a couple wickets to get 50 for the season and take over as high wicket taker for a season.

End of Over 50: 364-3, runrate=7.28
Rangana 10-0-71-0
Quintin* 63 (46 balls)
Rosenior 65 (56 balls)

Last Wicket: Clayton c. Rangana b. Gunesekara 118 (FOW: 235/3)
