He has been quite poor as of recent though, understandable if he was dropped for another bowler but I still can't fathom the inclusion of Lendl Simmons.I also just noticed they left out Taylor, which is very surprising considering all the WI bowlers are mediocre except Taylor who is a genuine strike bowler who can run through a side.
PS, the crowd is even worse than I first thought. Must only be a few thousand max in.

The commentators just said that they couldnt see a single Kiwi!Kiwi and Aussie supporters have easily outnumbered the locals at the ground IMO.
Obviously they are blind. They have shown a couple of groups of Kiwi's already today. Definetly not more than the locals, but definitely not NONE.The commentators just said that they couldnt see a single Kiwi!
If anything, I thought the WI side was a genuine bowler short rather than a genuine batsman short. Smith/Bravo/Gayle/Samuels are all good 5th bowling options, but they aren't the genuine 4th bowling options they were being used as. Now they're going to have to bowl at least 30 overs between them which is completely ridiculous given they have a specialist batsman at #8. I half-expected Taylor to get dropped for Bradshaw and it probably wouldn't have been a bad move, but picking Simmons makes no sense at all and it stinks of the West Indies side of about 3 years ago.He has been quite poor as of recent though, understandable if he was dropped for another bowler but I still can't fathom the inclusion of Lendl Simmons.
Is Phil Simmons a selector by any chance? If anything, I thought the WI side was a genuine bowler short rather than a genuine batsman short. I agree totally, I thought that they had been short in the bowling too especially with Dwayne Smith not having bowled in a couple of games. Taylor has been poor though and hadn't done enough to secure his place in the side IMO, although it would've made far more sense to bring in Ian Bradshaw as you mentioned. If anything, I thought the WI side was a genuine bowler short rather than a genuine batsman short. Did notice that, made me laugh tbh. He obviousy really wanted the ball, don't blame him either. I'd be dead keen if it came anywhere near me.Haha, see how fast that guy got out of the pool. Pretty much dived.
