Agree ...Jayawardene dropped a clanger in that game, really poor captaincy.

It won't be long before the follow India out of this World Cup, TBH.Wow, so much has happened this WC, feeling sad for SL...
The answer to your question (as a Sri Lankan) IMO is No... as it has been seen quite clearly today...Well the only thing i am worried about at the moment is can the sri lankan batsman fire at crucial matches like this? The matches coming ahead against Australia, NZ and if they qualify for the semi-finals are all pressure situations and their batsman need to somehow handle the nerves, i am not really worried about their bowling since they defended modest total against the indians and below-par today, BUT their batsman are a bit of a worry.
i dont get this Atapattu is even slower than Arnold !!Nope, Arnold may need to go ...despite his 50 ... he has never been a match winner ...he gets a 40 or 50 when there are others with him , but is incapable of building from thereon like today...when he should've stayed till the end to add the extra 20 runs -that may have made the difference ... he holes out... Atapattu adds stability at the top and allows Chamara Silva to come in at 6 to give some lower middle order impetus (which is lacking in the SL batting performances)...
Atapattu has yet to play at the World Cup, and lack of match exposure has contributed to his form struggling a bit, but IMO he is more dependable than Arnold and can come in at 3 and stay put playing a long innings and that way others can bat around him , a la Kallis ...i dont get this Atapattu is even slower than Arnold !!
Not something you cannot do without...Arnold's fielding is important IMO.
me too.I've never felt like such a softy then when I went to sleep at the half-way mark of last night's game, woke up and read about the finish.
Agreed. NZ by plenty.NZ will win tonight for mine. Windies to go crashing out.
NZ aren't that good...Agreed. NZ by plenty.
