I said it at the time and will continue to say it - he should never have got the job.
How many games has he been in charge for now, and we're still awaiting a semi-decent performance.

Liam, you seem to have found the chip on Halsey's shoulder.
I was hoping for a post-Germany Keegan press conference from McClaren after tonight. The thing tonight was that it didn't appear that England played with any urgency til the last 5 minutes and personally i'd fully advocate picking a squad of Championship or England B team quality Premiership players when the next game after Andorra comes around. Their reduced talent will definitely be made up by the fact they'd actually be willing to put the work rate in.

TBH it's the players who should IMO take more responsibilty than the manager for their dire performanes.If they at least admit that they have been playing terribly than people would have more respect for them IMO.Steve Mac is useless though.Those teeth and that fake smile are vomit inducing.

Does he rate him though?.I hear that Man U fans do moan at Fletcher alot but he has seemed IMO to make a huge improvement this season whenever he's been called upon.

Haven't seen any bad comments about Fletcher from Halsey so I'd assume he doesn't hate him. I agree with you about the improvement though.

Israel got what they came for so fair play to them. We just lacked the wit or the guile to break them down. McClaren really is the worst English manager ever, he has absolutely nothing about him as a number one. Good coach and all, but (as KK would have it) short at the highest level.

Country should always come before Club though. Anyone that doesn't give 100% whilst playing for their country doesn't deserve to be picked tbh.

The players should take some responsibility, but the fact that McClaren is so soft is partially why they keep churning out half-hearted performances. Also playing players out of position means England's play is going to be disjointed at best anyway.
Players must play in their rightful positions, players must be accountable.

True. Not necessarily for friendlies though which is what I should have out. Anyway, with thier talent they should be able to only give 90% and still win. Just need better management IMO.
