I think Bangladesh is now at a stage similar to that of Sri Lanka circa. 1992 as far as the ODI's are concerned. They have some really talented youngsters coming through, their bowling line-up seems to have found a strike-bowler and spinner who can keep the run-rate down.

I won't be surprised if the Bangladeshi team starts beating the top eight regularly during the next five years.

Hi, I'm Team India.
I specialise in spectacular implosions bigger and better than your local city's New Year's eve fireworks. I can burn reputations and expectations quicker than your morning toast. I can piss off 1/6th of the world's population in a matter of hours. I don't know how I am assembled but it seems my head and ass are interchangeable. My bowling has the potency of mint chutney. My batting has the fragility of a pappadom.

Please continue to adore and support me

ss if there wasn't odi would you see these upsets? no, upsets will hardly ever happen in tests, and you still say oneday cricket shoudn't be called cricket? without oneday cricket we couldn't afford tests... sports are all about upsets and is boring without upsets, test will rarely have upsets... and to turn the subject, you still think the icc is doing a bad job in development? i think not...

hope tharanga adds another hundred against bangladesh come wednesday:)

Bermuda vs India is on monday is going to be bad, Bermuda is going to get abused by india just to make up the NRR. I think anyway:ph34r:
I would be very cautious Mate, as a fellow SL fan - we could potentially get kicked out come Saturday (my time), if we think high and mighty and get beaten by Bangladesh and India.

Wednesday game against Bangladesh is a must win for us, because a loss will mean we would be potentially taking an early flight come Saturday.

I expect India will turn the Tables on us on Friday .

I agree with you though the prospects for Bermuda are not looking good.... There are records that are likely to broken ...and India likely to do better than SA in bashing those poor fellows to death...

Bangladesh has discovered some real quality young talent and this has a lot to do with their development at under 19 level...and you are right, I would not be surprised if they reach quarter finals now at the expense of SL or India, but definitely potential to reach Finals in 2011 .

Yep BD did play very well. India were still heavy favourites though.. and I needed a place to vent my frustration
If Bang do not go through to Super 8 s , then India do not lose any points when Super 8s commence.

Very excited for Bangladesh, definitely my second favorite team right now. Some of the youngsters - Rahim and Iqbal - look very promising. Now, India deserved this humiliation after yet another capitulation and the wrong call by Dravid at the toss. The experienced stars looked like minnows today and they need to wake up before it's too late. Bangladesh left the window open by dragging the game to the penultimate over and potentially keeping the RRR in the equation. India need to beat the pulp out of Bermuda (Sri Lanka-style) and follow it up with victory over a dangerous Sri Lanka side. How many opportunities will Sehwag get to prove that he doesn't belong? Pathan and Kumble should be considered.
Hey Adharcic:
Still making excuses for Tendulkar. You shoul dbe ashamed as should your team.

Okay honestly, guys, all us Indian fans are over reacting atm. We no doubt we have the right to be pissed and sad, but it's not all over for us, let's have hope.

We can still win this WC, I certainly believe so.

You are probably right.

Reduce the time frame. From now on, Bangladesh will be beating the top eight teams regularly.

What ego....abysmal failure and he wants to talk about 2007 World Cup. This is being focussed ???!!!

Tendulkar hinted at playing for some more time now and even in 2011 as well if his 'body permits'

DROP TENDULKAR !!

Unless Bermuda beat Bangladesh you have no chance, cus unless you play 20 times better against Sri Lanka we will be winning by 200 runs again.
