KP had to manufacture the runs tho, like chips over the infield (which got him out eventually) and a lot of exaggerated front foot pushes to long-on and long-off. Styris has pretty much played normally and runs have come freely.
Because... shock-horror... that's the way Pietersen plays!

The two have played the way they did, and both scored runs.

Is it just me or are NZ timing the ball way better than England?

Seems like all the two-pacedness of the pitch has gone to me.
You'll forgive me - you joined this forum well over a year after he did, and the irrational dislike came entirely, completely, 100% from his side.

I simply returned it.

What I posted there wasn't childish at all, it was just a reply to a patently prejudiced post - it's utterly ludicrous to claim that things are conspiring against England in this game, they've just been 2nd-best. EXD tends to find such things impossible to take, so comes-out with ridiculous conspiracy-theories.
What the hell is prejudiced about his comment?
Where is a conspiracy theory involved?

The issue seems to be with you rather than him recently. You are making accusations on things that just dont exist. In fact you have complete fabrications in the quoted post.

Its a pretty fair comment and a truth. The track is easier to bat on and is less 2 paced and it is easier to score square of the wicket now. However, that doesnt mean England shouldnt have scored more or that NZ havent played better. Its just a simple factual observation unrelated to anything else.

And stop with this EXD bull****, please

Yes, but not the only reason.

edit: Following from earlier trends, the odds right now are hilarious.

NZ are paying $1.02 to win, England $12.00. NZ are comfortably favourites, but that's pretty extreme.
Putting $20 on England is tempting. But patriotism wont allow it

He was patently suggesting that England had been disadvantaged - even if not through deliberate human intervention - the truth is they've just been 2nd-best.

I'd expect better of you than to suggest that the recent "issue" is all that matters. I'm not simply going to stand and take all the crap he throws my way.

As I say - I'll stop with it if he stops with this "Motson" nonsense. And not otherwise.

Styris dropped by Pietersen... would think Vaughan would know better than to have KP as a close fielder by now... :wallbash:

How many times has he used it since you came back? You have used EXD and explained it in detail many, many times and had numerous other digs.

Your contribution to the pops at each other far outweighs his since you have come back. Its almost like a vandetta (you probably would agree) and it is very unbecoming.

Anyway, Im less confident for an England win now. :)

Just because I've been the most common perpetrator of late DOES NOT mean I'm in the wrong. Don't judge everything on your own experiences - he's had a million-and-one digs at me that you've quite probably never seen.

Would you say comparing me to Saddam and Hilter is justified?
