I simply can't believe Larsen could be as brilliant a bowler as he was if he was just 65mph or so.

IMO dibbly-dobbly is invented for bowlers like Neil Fairbrother and Mark Greatbatch.
Believe it, it's true.

Mark Greatbatch?? He never ever bowled. IIRC, the first time I heard the term "dibbly-dobblers" would have been the '92 World Cup. The dibbly-dobblers were Larsen king-of-dibbly-dobblers, Latham and Harris

Carn England, 2 wickets in the first 5 overs will put some doubts into the following 8 batsmen in the order....

God damn it! Our feed to the game just crash. I ****ing hate sky sport! The same thing happened with the Super 12 final a couple of years back.

England paying 3.40. Get on anyone who isn't a Kiwi, even if they don't do it, that's a bit too generous.

How'd you know? How often did Larsen bowl in front of a speedgun?

Exactly, Greatbatch never bowled. Nor did Fairbrother.

Dibbly-dobbly for me is a term that describes a net-bowler. Not a proper class-act like Larsen (or Harris).

Sky over here are assuring us it's a problem with a powercut in West Indies.

EDIT: KiWiNiNjA beats me to it.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're back. Vincent out, and Plunkett's first ball is a wide. Nice to know nothing unexpected hasn't happened.

And Taylor's out. I'm suddenly having a viscious flash back to a certain world cup match four years ago, against Australia.
